    The wolf statue so incredibly looks like an Etruscan figure from far off, I never questioned it. If the professionals say it is from the 13th century, they are most likely correct but now it makes me question all those newly found Etruscan works (I mean everything found after the 13th century such as Brutus and the Chimera). I can't picture the people of the 13th century having anything made so similar to the wolf to be its immediate influence nor can I imagine the artist having easy access to ancient Etruscan bronze work to be influenced from them.
