This book, by Mark A. Garlick and Wil Tirion, is really great for sky enthusiasts! Loads of beautiful pictures, star charts, and information. It starts off with images of the scale of the universe, which is cool. Highly recommended, and it won't just sit on your coffee table without curious eyes and minds taking a look-see. I picked it up at Borders inexpensively in their bargain books section (I think about $10).
