    HBO's John Adams based on the biography by David McCullough was awesome(I read the book too a few years ago).
    The writing was excellent, the actors were superb and the ability for this series to draw you into the times was exciting.
    Not only did it address the heroics it addressed the hardness and tragedy of the time too. It made me cry in parts,
    made me proud in others and made me grateful to have this story as my story as an American. It moved
    me beyond the normal mode of thinking. I just bought the DVD today. This is a mini-series one can watch and
    still be moved and delighted.
