Yassa – “Laws 21 to 30"
“THE GREAT YASSA OF CHINGGIS/ JENGHIZ/ GENGHIS KHAN”
"If the great, the military leaders and the leaders of the many descendants of the ruler who will be born in the future, should not adhere strictly to the Yassa, then the power of the state will be shattered and come to an end, no matter how they then seek Chinggis Khan, they shall not find him." ~ CHINGGIS KHAN ~
~ The Yassa – “Laws 21 through 30” ~
{21} ~ In Accordance to the Marriage Law of the Yassa and under the penalty of Whipping, Flogging with a Rod or the Death Sentence is the punishment for any “Wife, Wives or Concubines that Neglect their Duties to and for her Husband”, and if she is accused, convicted and found guilty of the law which is forbidden in the Yassa Marriage Law which states… ~ *It is a “Wife, Wives or Concubines Duty” to know that a Man or Husband it is not like the SUN and therefore can not appear everywhere before people…* * When the Master is away ”Hunting” or at “War” it is the Wife/Concubines duty to keep the Household in Good Condition and Order…* * So, that if a Messenger or a Guest should happen to enter the House/Estate, that he may see that everything us in Order…* * The Wife/Concubines must prepare a Good Meal, so that the Guest/Messenger may “NOT” want for anything, thus shall the Wife/Concubine earns a “GOOD REPUTATION” for herself and her Husband/Man… This shall exalt his name in the assemblies like a “Mountain that Rear’s it’s Peak” such is the duty of the Wife, Wives, and Concubines or even a senior Female Slave who has had a child with her Master…*
{22} ~ This Law is observed under the Marriage Laws of the Yassa and the penalty of Fines or Ransoms is the punishment for any individual who was accused, convicted and found guilty of “Not Carrying through to Completion the Marriage Contract”…~ * If Two Families wish to be United by Marriage Laws of the Yassa and have only young children, the Marriage of these children is allowed for the purchase amount of a Wife… * * If the Boy or the Girl or both shall die the Marriage Contract shall still be drawn up and understood as valid and completed…*
{23} ~ In Accordance to the Marriage Law of the Yassa and under the penalty of Whipping, Exile, Flogging
with a Rod or the Death Sentence is the punishment for any individual who was accused, convicted and found guilty
of the braking the Marriage Law of the Yassa of “Of Denying the Heritage
Rights”…~ * Children born of a Concubine(s)/Slave(s) are as “Legitimate” as the children
of any Wife…* The Offspring of the First Woman/Female shall be Honored above other
Children and shall receive their fair share of the heritage according to the Disposition of it made by the Father in
accordance to the Marriage Law, which shall not deny the heritage right of children…*
{24} ~ By Decree of the Marriage Law of the Yassa the penalty of Flogging with a Rod or even the Death Sentence is the punishment for any individual who was accused, convicted and found guilty of the braking the Marriage Law of the Yassa of the ”Distribution of the Father’s Property upon his Death”…~ * The distribution is to be carried out on the basis of “Senior Living Son” receiving more than the junior son(s), for younger son(s) inheriting the Household of the Father…~ * The seniority of children depends upon the rank of their Mother; whether Slave/Concubine or Wife being determined chiefly by the time of her marriage or becoming or becoming Concubine or Slave the Marriage Law… *
{25} ~ By Decree of the Marriage Law of the Yassa the penalty of Exile, Flogging with a Rod or even the Death Sentence is the punishment for any individual who was accused, convicted and found guilty of the braking the Marriage Law of the Yassa of the “Surviving Senior Women Caring for Deceased Property”…~ * After the Death of the Husband/Master it is the duty of the Senior Women {Wife, Wives, Concubine(s) or Slave(s)} to takeover if there is no living son or there was never born a MALE Heir…* * The Senior Women shall inherit the deceased Husband/Master Property and any tries to deny this law of the surviving Senior Women will face the punishment decreed…*
{26} ~ By Decree of the Marriage Law of the Yassa the penalty of Exile, Flogging with a Rod or even the Death Sentence is the punishment for any individual who was accused, convicted and found guilty of the braking the Marriage Law of the Yassa of the “Surviving Heirs”…~ * After the Death of the Husband/Master it is the duty of the Senior Women {Wife, Wives, Concubine(s) or Slave(s)} to takeover as Regent when the son has not come of age yet (14 years old)…* * It is her duty to care for the deceased Master/Husband’s Property inclusive of other “Wives, Concubines, Slave(s) and all Children of those Women “ until the coming of age of her son…* * If this duty is neglected by the Senior Women then she has broken the law and shall be punished as decreed…*
{27} ~ By Decree of the Marriage Law of the Yassa the penalty of Fines, Ransoms, Whipping, Exile, or Flogging with a Rod is the punishment for any individual who was accused, convicted and found guilty of the braking the Marriage Law of the Yassa of the “Senior Living Son”…~ * After the Death of his Father, the Senior Son has the Rightsto “Dispose of the Father’s Property” once it is distributed to the heirs as directed by the Father…* * Only Two events will deny the Senior Son this Right: (1) “Having been “Exiled” by the “Court of the Khan” (2) “Having been declared by the father as an “OUTLAW” in the Court of the Khan…* * Have met all laws the Senior Son may dispose of the father’s property to include horse, cattle, camels, trade goods, slaves, concubines or wives; “All except his own Mother”, who would be the Senior Female/Wife if herself is not deceased as the deceased father…* * The Senior Son has the Right and may “Marry” his deceased Father’s Wives (except his mother) as this is customary…* * He may give them in marriage to his other brothers…* * He may give them in marriage to strengthen tied with other members of the family…* * He may give them as brides to make connections to other clans or tribe…* * The Senior Son may even offer them as brides or concubines to the Golden Family {Chinggis’ Khan Family}… * * It is the duty now of the Senior Son to set the Bride Purchase price on wives, concubines or slaves or any property of the Father and it is his duty now to set the bride price upon the sister(s) also…*
{28} ~ By Decree of the Marriage Law of the Yassa the penalty of Whipping, Exile, Flogging with a Rod or even the Death Sentence is the punishment for any individual who was accused, convicted and found guilty of the braking the Marriage Law of the Yassa of the “Senior Living Daughter”…~ * After the Death of his Father, and if the deceased Father had NO Female/Woman considered the Senior Wife/Female (including any wife, concubine or slave ) the Reason for that is that “NO SON” was born but a Senior Daughter shall then become the Heir and Head of the Household of her deceased father…* * The Senior Daughter will remain Head of the Household until her marriage, and then her husband will then share the Duties and Responsibilities and property of her deceased father and this right is guaranteed by the Marriage Law of the Yassa…*
{29} ~ By Decree of the Marriage Law of the Yassa the penalty of Whipping, Exile, Flogging with a Rod or even Death Sentence is the punishment for any individual who was accused, convicted and found guilty of the braking the Marriage Law of the Yassaof the “Usage of Deceased Property”…~ * It is strictly Forbidden for any individual except the Legal Heirs to make usage of any property of the deceased individual whether they be male or female…* * It is strictly forbidden to STEAL from the Dead or use their property …*
{30} ~ By Decree of the Marriage Law of the Yassa the penalty of Exile, Flogging with aRod or the Death Sentence is the punishment for any individual who was accused, convicted and found guilty of the braking the Marriage Law of the Yassa of the “No Living Heirs”…~ * After the Death of any Man/Husband/Master and along with him, his family (wife, wives, concubines, and children) are also killed or deceased and NO immediate Legal Heir survives then the deceased Man’s Property shall go to his Father, if not deceased; if deceased then the property will shall go to the Senior Wife’s Father…* * If this man is deceased then the property shall go to the local clan elder or Tribal Prince…*
