Gallus: Back to the Courts... Seeing "his friend" the centurion standing before him, the court clerk's mouth went dry.
"Hello, Sunshine!" Pullio Casca chirped. "Havin' a slow day in the courts, is we?"
The clerk managed a weak smile as he half-looked around the room, guaging various avenues of escape in the event this man became violent again. "Why, as a matter of fact, things have been a bit plodding, now that you mention it! Is your patron the Tribune interested in taking some cases on?"
"So he does, as a matter-o-fact! Sign up Tiberius Gallus Augur, if ye be so kind, fer the followin' cases, like:
Flavillus v. Scaevola as Defense Advocate
Decumius v. Bibulus as Defense Advocate, an'
Patricius v. Livius as Prosecution Advocate"
The clerk furiously scribbled down the cases, hope rising in his bosom that his attempt at good manners was going to prevent any bodily injury coming to himself.
"Oh, an' one other thing" said Casca. "Ain't nobody be signin' up as advocate for Tiberius Gallus against that rogue Ravilla in that yar jury tamperin' case yet?"
