A good thought Telemachas but the Divine Comedy by using the same pattern has a different goal.

The Myth of Er is a metaphor which simply underlines that everything you do in life (verbal or physical deed and thoughts) can be traced and once again you will find their affects in front of you.

The divine force for this is the Spindle of Necessity which is something like the Axis mundi. The Spindle's goddesses are the ones who will underline the paths of your life.

    Any thoughts?
