Part of a funerary cult in which offerings were made by the living to ensure the deceased had eternal life, this statue depicts a Governor of Upper Egypt. Formulaic prayers were often carved into the backs of these statues. This one is unusual in that the prayer invokes direct protection of the gods without help from the Pharoah. Who is it?
Extra credit: Name the city he is from.
