I had danced around the blazing fires, earlier as I had asked for a fruitful year. I giggled as I watched the daring ones jump over the fire. I wonder if I should try it, but then again, it's supposed to be for couples. Still, mayhap it would bring me luck.....runs and lightly jumps over, my skirts tucked up so that they will not scorch. I grin to myself, for even if I am not half of a couple, that was fun and after all, fertility comes in more than one form or variety, and besides, it is for the good of the crops...

I wander over to where Fedelm is tending the fire, bringing her a pitcher of heather ale and a mug, as well as some of the tasty boar meat. After all, tending fire is hot and thirsty work.

I thought about playing volley ball with some of the others, but right now it seems like too much work. I am having fun, simply watching everyone else, and drinking my sidhe stout, of course, and nibbling on some of the tasty food, of which there seems to be an endless array.
