Out of the past and onto my page
comes this creature bringing rage
a gigantic reptile having a lion's claws
unlike man with no perceptable flaws

Some call him a mythical monster of bad intentions
as if to be a revelation of someone's inventions
there are stories of dragons that I can't reveal
some favorites of mine are Grindle, Yokle and Camille

If you believe in magic then you'll know about Puff
docile and calm and and the color of pure buff
but I'll bet you never heard of the the most fantastic of all
my very own pet dragon, "whatshisname" who came at my call

When I left Ancient Sites I had to give him away
to my cousin and friend with these words I did say
take care of him well now that he belongs to you
and cuz, think kindly of me no matter what he might do.
