The Summer of Sorrow...

The Winter was hard and Beltaine is nearing. Even the animals had a hard winter as carcasses are exposed by the winds and from the thawing. The outlaw clan of Magh Croimor have been without its' chieftain, his wife and the prominent healer. Even missing is the newest swordhand, chased off by her own clanmens. None know where they have gone or when they're coming back. Few men have left refusing to stay any longer while a Sidhe lives in their midst. Malcontent is high among the cutthroats. Those that survived the winter are gaunt and hungry.

The wolves must hunt to survive. Little do they know other clans have lost some of their own. Good men are snapping at their own clanmen and neighbors. Grains spoiled through the early spring. Seed crops were lost to mold or vermin. Livestock are sickly looking, the ewes are dropping more still births than live. Even the women are losing babes yet to be born.
