for lack of a better term, long walk, here from the southwest. I've got holes in my moccasins and my knees are protesting. As interesting as the southwest cultures were, it's good to get back to lands that look more like my own homeland. It's still pretty flat here, but at least it's green and there are trees.

I think I shall try to visit some of the residents here to rest up before I start off along the trail again.
