Thanks for that excellent post, Logicon!
What fascinates me about Friedrich Nietzsche's thought is that he questions the supremacy of conceptual-mathematical-lawful thinking, the arrangement, the logos the Eleatics and especially Socrates and Plato conveyed in their philosophies - and after this become the prime part of philosophical investigations (having a strong peak in rigorous analysis of the early 20th century).
Nietzsche considers Socrates and Plato symptoms of decadence, who took the final attack and crushed the happy life of the Greeks, bringing them all under the same logos (or, I might even say, myth of logos).
I by means do not want to question that or the reasonability of your post, Logicon - what I just want to ask is that do you think it is possible we have missed many sides of what philosophy could be by only concentrating on one side, logos? Could it be that the logos is - just another myth?
I'm actually troubled by this question.
