    My friends in Americas will ask the intelligent questions, but I'm here to say "welcome" to AncientWorlds (AW). We are delighted to have you!! I must also point everyone to Dr. Hansen's home. FireStorm did an absolutely stupendous job of decorationg and it looks amazingly elegant!

    As I told Topi, Dr. Hansen picked out part of his name based on the ancient word for the Mirador Basin, a conservation and archeological project with which he's deeply involved. Besides discussing his work with ancient Maya cultural history and archeology, take a look at the various links FireStorm has put up at his wasi, to see just how varied his interests are!
