On February 11, a five month cross-country journey will set out from San Francisco (Alcatraz) to arrive in Washington DC on July 11. The Longest Walk is being led by Dennis J. Banks, co-founder of AIM. The purpose is to draw attention to environmental and sacred site issues and to mark the 30th anniversary of the original Longest Walk. Click here and here for details.
