Cold and gray here, but no more snow and no need to shovel.Coffee is hot and the fire is warm as always. It is interesting how people visualize ideas and ideas take on a reality of their own. We have had The Three Sisters for less than a year now and it has become a familiar place to some of us. I think it would be a lot of fun to try to construct an image of the interior which would incorporate the vision of members of the territory. So far, we are in agreement about a stove and a coffee pot which set the place in time. They are both appropriate to the late 19th century. As we know where Kituwah Territory is, we now have a time and a place. That's a good start.Moonbeam has suggested that the spot may have just evolved through use and would be somewhere between the gardens and The Tcokofa. I would add that by the 19th century, there would have been a road there and like most inns, it would be beside the road.Construction materials of the time and place would most likely be rough hewn somewhat squared logs with a kind of mortar chinking the cracks.Although by the 19th century there would have been sawn and dressed lumber available,It would be have been used sparingly due to the cost. I think I will begin with just a section of a wall and how it might have appeared.Have a good day all.
