    Medicinal Part: Fruit

Description: APPLES_are common enough not to need description.

Properties and Uses; Peeled and grated apple is excellent for illness involving diarrhea. A fasting diet of one or two days with only grated grated apple allowed is effective. Unripe apples are better for this than ripe ones. If, on the other hand you need a mild laxative, eat some apples whole. Apple peels can be dried and made into tea that is recommended for rheumatic illness. Apple wine is an ancient cure-all that was mentioned by Galen in the second century A.D. Use only wine that is at least two years old.

    Preparation and Dosage:

Infusion: Use 1 to 2 tsp. dried apple peels with 1 cup simmering water. Take from 1 to 3 cups a day.

CAUTION: Apple seeds eaten alone can be poisonous.

On the other hand, *"Do what they did in Paradise, eat an apple a day and get physical exercise." The Paradise Diet is the way to regenerate your body and find heaven on earth.
