The lot woke up very early next morning a big campsite had been set around and nearby the great wooden statue of the godess Amano-Uzume, Kyo's eyes were a bit blured and he had a hangover but he was dealing with it better than Aiko, the Minamoto twins had to wake her and almost drag her to the lake for the dialy purifications Kyo and the others had put on their swimwear but Aiko had to go into the water in her pijamas, she was quite upset with the Twins when the freezing water fully awoke her, very few people had come for the purifications, at least at this early hour, it was nearly a torture to purify your soul and body with water so cold, but life is not all fun and games, balance is necesary, there is not a true beliver if there is not comitment and an ammount of sacrifice.

Just dry from the cold water but still in swimwear and proudly wearing white Hachimaki bandanas representing perseverance and effort, the valiant faithful congregated close to the mudpool where they had had their first task, but now it was a different one, a ten feet tall tower had been built and ontop of it a trophy had been placed, many faithful had to be summoned to replace those who was in no condition to attend the ceremony, in the past two teams shall beat eachother with sticks until one member of one team managed to climb the tower and get the trophy, today they will be using paddled sticks to make sure nobody got hurt, they all bowed in the direction of the temple, the signial were given and the battle started, covered by Masato Kyo made his way to the tower and started to climb but a member of the other team got caught him and pulled him down knocking down a couple members of his own team in the way, Aiko and the twins did their job keeping the other team members from climbing the tower, Kyo and Masato were helped by their team members to climb up but both of them were hauled down again.

After twenty minutes of paddled battling no team had managed to achive the goal of retriving the trophy, it would be a bad omen if the match would end up in a draw, so it would go on and on forever till the goal would be achived; Paddled sticks can't really hurt you but after a while of getting beaten with them you start to get dizy, the judges decided that anyone falling down had to come out of the task and both teams started to thin, since Kyo had tryed to climb the most of times two team members of the other team were trying to beat him down but the girls managed to beat them down, masato and Kyo started to get dizy and their team had now less people, one of the shortest girls from the other team was helped up by a team member on her side and she was dangerously close to the trophy so in a desperate move the twinsput their hands together to create a step and Aiko jumped they caught her foot and hauled her up she made a 360 spin on air and landed ontop of the tower with her barefeet inches from the trophy, the other girl reached for the trophy with her hand but Aiko caught it with her feet and jumped backwards, Kyo, masato and the Twins were there to stop her fall, the girl of the other team claimed that Aiko had cheated but the judges pointed out that there was no rule forbiding anyone from taking the trophy with her feet, Aiko was carried on arms by her team and she was raising up the ten pound golden figure of Amano-Uzume.
