Salon de Divertissement
![]() As you can see, Mia is terribly busy tidying up. When she gets done, what you will find here - at my modest, little salon at the Hôtel Ritz, in La Place Vendôme - is an all-hours entertainment venue where intimate cabaret fare, champagne cocktails, shameful conversation and witty repartee are all on the bill! This posh hotel suite is done over in Art Deco decor, featuring Egyptian and Far East themes. A sleek, ebony, grand piano is the most distinguished feature of the Salon, taking up a corner of a dais for entertainment. In the opposite corner of the room is a bar with every kind of spirit known to man- and womankind. Help yourself to something alcoholic, or just a coffee or espresso if you'd prefer. Other features of the Salon include plush chairs and divans, sofas, coffee tables, a gramophone, a card table, and a beautiful pair of French doors that lead to a balcony view of the Paris skyline. Actors, musicians, artists, and every variety of bohemian gather here to share their gifts, gossip, dance, and drink. The more the merrier, so whether ye be demimondaine or boulevardier, put on your richest rags and enjoy this Jazz Age hideaway. On the way here, be sure to stop for dinner at the Hotel Particulier and soak up some culture at the Rue de la Paix Art Studio.
