Great quizz, and I got 80%!

I got 6 out of 10 right in this quiz. You'd think I'd do better since I helped with the research for a small part of the Vandals Tour, but evidently I have the attention span of a gnat when it comes to retaining information I've read! Maybe I'm biased, but I reckon Germania has come up with some great events for the GoldFest. I'm amazing to see how everything came together at the end - some people much have worked very hard behind the scenes over the last week or so, and congratulations to them on a grand job!

I seem to have the echoing halls of Hugrunar pretty much to myself at the moment, but I had looked at the group's (in)activity level before joining so was prepared for that. Maybe if I keep posting, it might encourage old members to return anyway.

I would recommend anyone coming new to AW to bring a like-minded friend, else it can be a lonely place really....

In RL I am a follower of Ásatrú, a heathen tradition closely based on the original religion of the Norse people. That's right - I'm pagan and proud of it. Since it's a very personal choice I'm not sure why I feel obliged to mention it here at all, except religion seems to be important to many people here. It wasn't as relevent to my decision to settle in Germania as my heritage was. My grandparents on my mother's side were Icelandic, and my father's family originally came from Shetland before moving to England. When I was a kid that all meant nothing to me except getting teased at school for having a 'funny' name LOL, but as I've got older I find I want to know more about what made me who I am. I'm sad the Viking group here at AW is dead but I might join it anyway - I've noticed some groups are recently undergoing revivals, so maybe someone will pick up the reins there *fingers crossed*

Time to decorate the old homestead now! This is the part I love - not! LOL
