I've been spending a lot of time going through the Help files trying to learn-especially music and pictures. I made a pic and downloaded? it to a folder, the sent it to my daughter. Don't know if she got it. My neice who knows a lot (even repairs) uses IE while I'm on AOL so there are some things she can't explain to me. But I'm understanding more gradually.

When I first got a comp. I was only interested in AW and the history, so if I didn't have to know it for AW, I just ignored it - hence my very limited use of a very expensive computer...I'm just learning to function with folders and while opening one with pics I found a porn cartoon (thanks pat.)He never thought I would get this far. Delete.

My question would be this: Why do I need to upload some images with image shack and others (like plaques) I can directly copy?

To stay on the safe side I use image shack every time. I don't want to screw anything up for anybody.

Can anyone tell me what's the difference between AOL and IE or Mozilla? I've got all 3 downloaded but use mostly aol. Are the folders for AOL different? Could I have missing material in one of those locations.Is it just different toolbars? My neice loves internet explorer. She really can't verbalize why and she says everything would change on my comp. if I tried to switch. I'll figure it out. Spend most of my comp. time experimenting. AW needs to take a backround seat so I can catch up on these simple little things I didn't bother to learn earlier.

Reading and trying to improve my understanding of some of the conversations that pass me by. I don't exspect to reach the intellectual heights of many of the long time or some short time members here. But in reading I do get a feel for general ideas. What the heck is a faggot? I had to skip a few paragraphs towards the end. I was starting to fall asleep and wondered if that was part of the purpose of the tales. Like telling their children stories at bedtime. Oh well, I gave it a shot anyway.

It might be time for a new persona. I'm having a hard time focusing like I was once able to. I had decided a while back that my next persona would be in babylon. My deceased hubby used to say he'd rather be good at a lot of things than great at just one. Me, at the time, would rather be an expert at just one thing. Now, I tend to agree with him. Bust, if I do that it will be after Imbolic. I can't miss Brigid's special time. (Did a little reading) I just wish I was in touch with my creativity. I'm not. I have energy tonight. Maybe I'll go back to Arachne, try out some new techniques.

In reading Irish geneology in detail, something came tp my attention but I didn't write it down. Now I can't find it. It was a curiosity that among all the sons of so and so. I found 1 woman who's name and death was mentioned. I'd like to know more about her but I don't have the time to retrace my steps. It could be that there were more and I didn't recognize them as women, but this entry specifically said daughter to and wife of. She must have been special to be the only woman worth mentioning.
