Pennsic is just a couple of very short weeks away. I will be there Aug 3 for all of War week. I really can't wait. I've almost finished re-making my tent. Between that and the other dress projects I have to get done, it's amazing I sleep!
It looks like it will be absolutely beautiful again this year in terms of weather. I didn't see anything about 82 as a high and I saw a lot of 78s. Time to pack up the velvets! |

Maryland Fairie Fest

I'm so sorry I haven't kept up with this. Life got in the way for a bit. I've moved, got a new job, and love where I am now.
Today I went to the Maryland Fairie Festival and it was a blast! The website for it is here http://www.marylandfaeriefestival.org/
It's not nearly as liberal as it sounds. It's actually just a nice fun place to get away for a bit, wear silly garb, and hang out. The music was unbelievably good. The guest band I listened to was Emerald Rose and they were just awesome. I think I might have a new favorite medievalish band! |

Opening Weekend

I went to the Maryland Renaissance Festival on Saturday. I wore my pink tudor gown and ended up in even more photos! It looks like there is an editor for a Renaissance themed magazine that would like me to model for them. I'd love to actually show off my gowns, and maybe even other peoples gowns, and get paid for it. |
