My boyfriend and I adopted this little fellow yesterday. We fallen in love for this red furball, so Kiwi (it's his name) is the new baby in the house.:-)

Martinique, a Paradise on Earth

Or should I say, in France?!! Yep, this caribbean island makes part of France. Funny, hein?!*g* French have the DOM (Departement Outre Mer/Overseas Departments) and the TOM (Territoires Outre Mer/Overseas Territories). Martinique is a DOM, so it's a departement just like Ile-de-France (where Paris is located) but in the american continent. It's kind of odd, you know, travelling 8 hours to get there and everybody speaks créole (a french phonetic version) and the currency is the euro...and you're in America. It's not my dream destination (dreaming with India and Kashmir*g*) but I have to say that I really enjoyed the island, the people and the food. Here's some photos that I took during my journey:
