Ok, can we say "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon meets Helen Keller"!
Don't get discouraged by that though, It was a pretty good movie. I had to watch it twice, but only because I was really tired last night and fell asleep during a critical part that tied the plot together.
Flying Daggers is a Love Story for the most part. The beautiful Mei (The Blind Oriental) is a member of The Flying Daggers, a group of rebels so to speak. She is captured and a plan is set in motion to use her to find the new leader of the Flying Daggers. The trip takes three days and in that time she falls in love with her traveling companion (secretly a captain for the enemy). |
