ATTENTION: All those currently on Virtual Visages VPS (Virtual Private Servers)

Our SQL handler for the Horde program has suffered a major crash. This applies only to those on our Virtual Private Servers (VPS) that use the Horde email software (including me!). All those using our Squirrel and Basic email systems, or their own email software are not affected.
I am assured that our Horde mail will be up to snuff in timely fashion. It is an extensive, all-encompasing program that has been buggy since the gitgo. Hopefully from now on, things will improve! |

*note* In order to fit into a group page format, and for quicker loading, these graphics had to be downsized and sliced into tables. The original images are 650 pixels wide, and include java-scripted mouseovers in the winged sundisk, and also between Hathor's horns. For the group's main page, I used simple text links instead.

The 1st Annual Chainsaw Ball - A New Toy for Tante

When
birthday time rolled around for a certain power-packed Goddess, her
loyal servants planned
a round-the-world party, whisking her off to every known corner of
the Ancient World. During that night of music, merriment and mayhem,
Egypt's Alexandria After Dark went all out, offering the best of the
best, for our favorite chainsaw wielding Goddess.

One
day, a certain Nebet named Hap wandered into Azure's Virtual
Visages studio, and the Ka on duty there thought...
'Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm...'
*of
course she dared not utter the magic words aloud*
'...The
loinclothed one is right. She's got what it takes to be a model.
Just look at those cheekbones, those lips, those eyes... the
way her kalisaris hangs just right. O yes, O, ' mused
the Ka, "Just a hint of color here, a touch of
gold glint there, and our Hap could be Kemet's next Supermodel!'
Hap,
ever daring, and always up for a little fun, sat down on the
imported cedar throne, and... well.. did what resident Scribes
do when they sit on the throne...
She
softly smiled. ;-)
After
some twelve hours of holding perfectly still, Hap finally stood.
The Ka held out a reflective glass, revealing to Hap the results
of her makeover.
"Once
every so often," she said to her friend,
"I lose my Muse. Well, somewhere between limerick number
X and limerick number XIV, you helped me find her again. I hope
you enjoy your new look, as much as I enjoyed rendering you.
And
here are a few extras, of all sizes, so the beauty of you can
always show through, no matter what tight spot you're in! Ciao
Bellisima."
