new wedding date...

well, we had initially set 8/2 for the wedding, but sweetie has been out of town for weeks and that date just won't work....so, we're now looking at 11/1 (a date I choose since it coincides with Samhain *s*). we'll have to sit down and plan what we want to do when he returns from his trip at the end of the week. something simple, something earthy and pagan, something elegant, something deep. :)

guess I'll have to do all my GF/Samhain stuff ahead of time, since I'll be consumed with the wedding 'bout that time. *hehe* hmmm....honeymooning! I'm thinking either La Parguera in Puerto Rico or one of the beaches on the west coast of Florida. choices, choices! :)

a birthday gift

from my lovie arrived today (actually while we were talking on the phone--what timing!)...lovely flowers and a fuzzy, cuddly teddy bear I'm naming Brown Sugar (Sug for short).

ah...to be in love, to be loved, and be so cared for and thought of. *happy sigh*

Sug is gonna be hoggin' the bed tonight I suppose! just like a guy! *g*

The Sparrow has Landed

getting settled down here in sunny Florida. all is super and going well.

we shared our first Christmas and have been able to visit his family. still gotta make a day to hang at the beach which is only 'bout 10 minutes away.

many thanks to the lovely folks who dropped by holiday greetings. next year I'll be able to reciprocate since I won't be in a life transition mode. *grin*

Wedding Bells!

my Beloved has proposed to me!!! *huge smile* and i have gratefully and lovingly and happily accepted!!!

tis a wonderful time in my life....a new beginning to explore and relish. i've already given notice at work and my last day is this Saturday (hehe *eg* no more being a slave to Home Depot! yay!!!!!!!!). i leave for Florida on the 20th to be with my hubby-to-be. :) i am so excited and eager! *lol*

wow.........just so frickin' awesome!

i probably won't be in here too much once i get down there, since i'll be spending lots of time with him and getting settled in. then we'll have to come back here to pick up the rest of my stuff.

the sparrow is about to build a new nest with her Hawk. :)

Flowers

my Beloved has sent me flowers at work twice (and the vases were pink *s*). They were so lovely! I kept them at the paint desk so I could see them while I was working. Each time I looked at them a smile arose upon my face and my heart soared and I was at peace within.

He is so awesome!

And I'm incredibly and wonderfully and passionately in love!!! :)
