Welcome to my Fishtank. Here I conduct my social activities at AncientWorlds and in Athens. You can leave me a message on my personal message board or take a look at my friends list. Soon you will be able to check my calendar of events as well. Except that it got waterlogged and disintegrated.
Labidochromis caeruleus: This is a yellow color variant of a fish that is normally white with black markings, although breeding males will be blue. It is a docile fish, originally coming from Lake Malawi, Africa. This fish is an omnivore.
There are now four socializing in this Fishtank, and their names are in flux as I try to determine genders.
Iodotropheus sprengerae: This is another small fish from Lake Malawi, Africa. The mature and healthy fish will be around three inches, with rust and purple colorations. It is also relatively docile.
Ramses II is the male who resides here with his two lady consorts, Istnofret and Nefertari. (Istnofret has passed on to the big fishtank in the sky. I am looking for a female replacement for her, but they're all out at the pet store.)
Betta splendens: This is also known as the Siamese Fighting Fish. They are surface breathers, naturally occurring in small, often airless, ponds and puddles in Thailand. The males are dramatically more attractive than the females, so it is usually easier to find the former gender in pet stores. However, you can't let two males share the same space -- they will kill each other. And if you stick them in a tank with the above-named fish -- they'll probably BE killed.
The resident Bettas are: Sam, Hane, and Felix. Each of them live alone, the former two in the kitchen, the latter in the bathroom.
