Well, all right, I must admit that I haven't really written much at all of any note...whatsoever. Anywhere. However, this does not really matter in the end. A man isn't great merely because of what he writes. Besides, ink costs a lot these days and I've only got a couple thousand sesterces to my name. That won't last either, considering how quickly Mater goes through that godsawful incense... As for the books I own, by all means feel free to browse. It's modest, I know. However, this is because I am a humble man...with very little money. I used to have a lot more than this. In fact, I used to have Polybius. Yes, the complete works. But I had to sell them. You wouldn't happen to know of any jobs that I could perform in order to gather enough sesterces to buy them back, would you? It doesn't even have to be strictly legit. Heck, my slave and flunky Nausaebundus loves doing dangerous work. Borrow him or something and pay me a few sesterces. Oh, for a talent of gold...
