My particular historical interests in Ancient Germania are Anglo-Saxon civilization 410 CE-11OO CE thus including the Norman conquest, which I view as a disaster for a brilliant civilization....I have had an abiding interest in Old English language & literature for many years. I was weaned on BEOWULF.
