Dar al Islam is the Arabic term for those lands which are ruled by Islam, literally meaning "house of submission."

Here we seek to explore the religion which originated in the south of Arabia with the prophet Muhammad and has expanded into the modern day as the world's second largest religion. A focal point of the research, discussion, and roleplay is the Islamic Empire, which at its height stretched from Iberia to the Indus.

Please note! This group is intended for everyone's use, and there must be a respect for the backgrounds of the membership. While a person has a right to their beliefs, there must also be a willingness to respect the beliefs of others. As with any religion, the history of Islam is not a perfect one. Therefore the point here is not to glorify Islam OR to take it down, but to learn and understand all the truths and history of this amazing religion and the impact it has had on world history.
