Here begins the tale of the Village of Inver Colpa, as it was written by those who lived there and experienced the adventures.

The time… Third Century AD. Cormac is King over Tara and all of Ireland. Except for a few obligatory raids for cattle and wives, the country is generally at peace. Harvests have been plentiful, and life is good.

The place… the busy port of Inver Colpa. Named for that son of the Mil, who was drowned there. The village is clustered along the bank of the River Boann (Boyne). The Keep commands the high ground, situated on a river bluff at the base of the Hill of Amergin.
