What is a birthday without cake??? Back in ancient days cakes were somewhat of a drab affair unless you lived at the Palace - but NOW we can make cakes to feed 8 to 600! Here's your chance to shine, bakers of Rome! Write 'em up and post 'em on this delicious thread.
Submit your best-ever birthday cake recipies here (link). You can ener up to five recipes - but they must be viable cakes, however. NO Garum Rum Cake or Chian Fluff Frosting! The winning cake will be served at the online wedding of our beloved Livia Drusa Servilius with Marcus Tiberius Claudius April 21st! Winners and prizes to be awarded April 18th! |
