CONTEST DESCRIPTION AND RULES: 
Welcome To The Third Annual Jousting Tournament of Germania.You will need to pick up a coat of arms here, since all knights had one, we need to have one here too. Some of the shield do have names just above them, that means that they are already taken, but there are still plenty to be had, so hurry up and pick one before all the good ones are gone. What you need to do is simple; just pick one shield that you would like to use (except for any of the ones already taken) and let Desdemona know about it so she can help you use it for the games. I would also suggest that you make a second choice in case the one you choose is chosen by another player ahead of you. We will post it for you in the Jousting Tree after each joust has been set. You may also post your shield on the Jousting Thread if you like so we can all admire it and feel very envious. The rules for this game are simple, first of all you will need to find a marshal that will help you post the joust. Desdemona will gladly help you in this task, so please speak to her about it. Once that is out of the way you need to find a knight to joust against and then make an announcement about it in a post. Again Desdemona may be able to help you in this department if you have run out of posts. Once you have done that, the players are to send their name, shield url (which you will find in the shields list), any bonus you may have and posture in the first gram to the marshal so it can all be added to the game before you start the joust. From the second gram and on you only gram the marshal your posture. So do keep this in mind! All the rules of the game are explained in detail The Joust of Germania Thread. Entries posted here will not be considered for prizes! |
