New businesses are welcome to locate in the tabernae of the inn's outer courtyard and along the street. A thread for your taberna will be created from this board. Leave a message at the oikos of Lysimachus Philippos if you have an idea or questions.

In one tale, depicted by the tavern’s sign, Pitys was pursued by the satyr Pan. To help her escape Pan’s amorous design, Gaea turned pan into a pine tree. Pitys remained beloved by Pan, who often wore a crown of pine needles and played his pipes for his lost love.
Here on the sacred pine shall I hang my tuneful pipe.In the other tale, Pitys was loved by both Pan and the north wind Boreas. When she chose Pan, Boreas blew her over a cliff. In pity, Gaea turned the nymph into a pine tree, and Pitys’ weeping may still be heard when the wind blows through a pine tree.
Virgil, Eclogues 7:24
