Tonight we honor Those special friends from other worlds who have contributed so much to Hellas over the course of time that we consider them to be honorary citizens of our world.

The tent has been set up in Philia Park in Athens, which is part of Embassy Square, where embassies from other worlds maintain their homes and offices. In the park also is Friendship Stele, a great stone monument upon which the names of the friends of Hellas are carved. Beneath the stone a flame forever burns so that all Hellenes in years to come, shall remember these names.
