Welcome to the Renaissance Fair of 2006

The festivities will begin on Friday the 29th of September at 16:00 AW Time and will continue until Sunday the 1st of October at 21:00 AW Time.
The sign up pages for the Joust, Hand to Hand Combat and Poetry Contest can be found here, on the right column.

The rules for all contestants are quite simple. Anyone may enter, be it a patron, member of admin or citizen.
No special favours will be paid to anyone and the judges (for the poetry contest) will remain secret so no one can be bribed with expensive whiskey or cyber cookies.
As for the other two contests you should all know that the winners are determinate by a programmed game that cannot be manipulated by the marshals.
This is all explained in the rules that have been posted here.

If you have any questions at all do not hesitate to ask, either Brunor Averni (the game creator) or Desdemona Eurimedon may be able to help you.



Bellow you may read the schedule we have prepared for this fair.

Friday 29th of September, AW Time:

16:00 Opening ceremony and party will be held.
17:00 Medieval Poetry Contest Starts and will continue throughout Saturday until midnight, AW time.
18:00 Members will declare themselves for the Joust and Hand to Hand Combats.

Saturday 30th of September, AW Time.

12:00 Characters will be created for the Hand to Hand Combat.
14:00 The Joust at Monsalvat Castle will begin and continue until a champion is set.
00:00 The Poetry Contest will close, all participants should make sure they post their entries before midnight.

Sunday 1st of October, AW Time.

14:00 Hand to Hand Combat will begin and continue until a champion is set.
17:00 Poetry winners will be announced.
18:00 Joust winners will be announced.
19:00 Hand to hand combat winners will be announced.
20:00 Closing ceremony will begin and continue until 21:00 AW time.
