Ta-meri: Heredet ne Hap translates as Egypt: Children of the Nile.
Imagine for a moment that Cleopatra never barricaded herself in her monument with her maidservants. Nor did she kill herself. Her teenage son Caesarion was never hunted down and killed by Augustus’ agents. Cleopatra Selene and Alexander Helios were never taken in triumph to Rome.
Imagine instead that Cleopatra reigned on as Queen of Egypt for a number of years, eventually retiring in honour and dignity as Mother of the King, to see Caesarion in time crowned as Pharaoh in his own right.
Imagine further that Egypt remains a great Eastern power in the turbulent politics of a Mediterranean increasingly under the sway of a Rome ruled over by Augustus. Perhaps Egypt might even increase its empire under Cleopatra and Caesarion to seriously rival Rome.
What consequences might arise from such a scenario ? Does Caesarion nurture ambitions to conquer Rome itself ? After all, is he not the son and heir to the mighty Julius ? And what part might the ordinary Egyptian citizen play in this drama ?

Ta-meri: Heredet ne Hap is an alternative world, fiction based on fact. What happens now, depends on you. So, if you see yourself as an empire-builder or a winnower of fates, come and join us. Maybe you see yourself as Cleopatra herself or as Caesarion ? or perhaps something less exalted, maybe an Egyptian court official in Alexandria ?
