Vente quid levius? Fulgur. Quid fulgure? Flamma. Flamma quid? Mulier. Quid muliere? Nihil!

What is lighter than the wind? Lightning. What is lighter than lightning? Fire. What lighter than a fire? A woman. What lighter than a woman? Nothing!

A Woman's Work is Never Done

The women of antiquity
Displayed their great ability
To turn a house into a home
In places far removed from Rome.

In Athens, Egypt, Celtia,
In Babylon, Germania,
In Machu Picchu worlds away
The women made the holiday.

They cleaned their homes,
they cooked great meals,
They heeded every child's appeals.

They honored gods
and spouses, too,
And rose each day to start anew.

this is a lovely gift by Senex Caecilius
