Usu. May. 1 in Gregorian calendar. This Great Fire Fest (3rd) was a fertility rite where the land, the crops were blessed to assure a good harvest through the celebrants and their "joinings".

Summer Solstice. It is known that the Brithonic traditions placed greater importance on the Solstices. In Welsh trads -for example- midwinter is New Year rather than Samhain in Gaedelic (Irish/Scots) trads.
