Welcome to Germania's Yule 2006!
See the sights, heat the sounds, gather round the Town Square! There's an activity for everyone at this year's Yule Festival! Check out the map below to take you where your heart desires -- but don't miss out on anything! The merchants await you -- and there's room at the Inn, should you require it.
Yule 2006 Schedule of Events
- Klandestine Kris Kringle
A gift exchange game where participants give and receive gifts annonymously. The game opens December 21st. Everyone will find out their Klandestine Kris Kringle on January 5th, 2007.
- Dedication Tree
Particpants will submit a special dedication to Bree Burgundian beginning December 21st. She will accept dedications through December 28th, at which time they will be added to the Dedication Tree. A candle or ornament will appear for each dedication. When it is rolled over, the dedication will appear! All dedications will be up by December 31st.
- Christmas Caroling & Wassailing
In this fun twist on a Christmas favorite, participants will select a carol, the corresponding code and go a-Wassailing! Just place the code on the message board of your best pal -- or worst enemy, depending upon your intention, *g* and have fun. There are also graphics for recipients to present to carolers if they so desire. This event will begin on December 21st and run through the end of Yule.
- Yule Log Decorating Contest
Three templates will be provided for contestants to decorate -- or they can draw their own! This contest begins December 21st and runs through December 27th. See thread for times and official rules.
- King Alfred's Hunt
A medieval hunt game headed by King Alfred himself.
