Good evening, ladies and gents. Tonight, we’ll be talking with a special guest, all the way from Greece. Yes, folks! Right here on our stage… live and in person... The Queen of Rock! Here she is! Let’s have a big hand for... Med-u-sa!

(Wild applause, screams and whistles from the audience!)

Mac: Good evening, Medusa! That's right. Just have a seat right there behind the curtain. We'll all be able to see you in the mirrror.

Mac (aside): Johnny! Can you slide the drapery a little to the left? Careful now... Don’t look directl… Ooooh! Too bad for Johnny! Well, we’ll just leave the curtain as it is. Would somebody please move that statue?)

Mac: Well now, Medusa. Welcome to our Boollywood Gala. It’s a great pleasure to have such a famous rock star visit with us. I suppose you’d like to talk about your latest album?

Medusa: You bet your sweet fat ass I would. It’s called Stone Cold and is has some great tracks. My sisters Stheno and Eluryah do the backups, and the band is straight from Hell! Our drummer, Cerberus, just got a new set of skins… human. Caught ‘em himself. On lead guitar we have Charon, himself! Our bassist is called Asmodius, for a good reason, and Mr. Bones handles all the keyboards. A fine set of ivories!

Mac: Can you tell us a bit about some of the songs?

Medusa: I’ll go you one better. Here’s a preview of one of the cuts, written by Armstrong. It’s called All About Me! Hit it, boys!

(More wild cheers and applause from the audience.)

Mac: That was just great! I think your new album’s going to be quite a hit!

Medusa: It damn well better be! We worked our butts off to pull this thing together. But we’re pretty pleased with the product.

Mac: Before we go any farther, there’s one question I’ve just got to ask. Who does your hair?

Medusa: Are you trying to be a smartass or something? *glares at Mac in the mirror* If you must know, I tried all those upscale salons... Sassoon, Parker, the whole string. Didn’t work out. All of the "artistes" seem to have this morbid fear of snakes. After three or four got nipped by the asps, I finally gave up. Now, I have this Hindu Fakir who comes over and playes his funny little flute. Has about the same effect as mousse! My lovely locks are quite manageable for three or four days after that.

Mac: Interesting! Next question: What is the truth behind this story about you and Poseidon?

Medusa: That crap? That was just some wild figment of the fertile imagination of Ovid! No! He didn’t "ravish" me on Athena’s altar. It was consensual... and pretty sensual, as I recall. Athena got pretty pissed 'cause we rumpled her golden altar cloth. But she didn’t curse me with this "do". I was born this way, just like my sisters.

Mac: Well, thank you very much, Medusa. I’m afraid we’re about out of time. Now, as a special treat for those in our audience who want to get really stoned, we’re going to pull the curtain. Look if you dare. As for me, I’m outta here!
