Springfest in Rome: Vinalia Urbana
Once again, it’s Springfest time and this year’s theme is the
Vinalia Urbana, the third wine-focused festival celebrated by ancient Romans. Traditionally this was when the wine was opened and enjoyed, followed by sacrifices, offerings and possibly feasting. Read more about

Alas, this year will be the last year of Springfest, so don’t miss the opportunity to participate and help Springfest go out with a bang rather than a whimper.
Okay, let’s get talking about the events. Rome’s Springfest day is April 22nd, so all events are on that day. Here comes the fun:
The Rome Wine tour is set for 17:00 AW time, but the time wasn’t confirmed by the time this article was written. The event will be located offsite and host it's own thread for discussion and fun, but won't be available until Rome kicks off it's official Springfest day. Check out the Vinalia thread when the time comes.
One of the biggest questions surrounding HBO’s hit series Rome is how the relationship between Titus Pullo and the lovely Eirene will turn out. I can’t really say, but here at AncientWorlds, they’re getting married. That’s right !
The wedding starts at 10:00 AW time. At 12:00 AW time, there’s a huge party to happen and it will go until the last person leaves. Once again, that’s on the Vinalia thread.
Even the gods can’t keep away from the fun. Gods and spirits from Celtica, the Americas, Egypt, and Rome will be touring the world. The Bragging Gods thread for this wasn’t available at press time, so check the Springfest central thread closer to party time for details. It’s interactive, so plan to join in the fun.

Another cross-world event, the Rock Art Tour will include a section on Roman, or rather Italian rock art. Mangas Cochise originally wowed us all with the first Rock Art Tour last springfest in the Americas, and this spring it's become a joint venture. Though this will be located globally, it will also be available from the Vinalia thread header.
