This map is a cross-section of a mound, revealing an acre of subterranean dwellings. Often classified as a passage tomb, the ancient structure now called Newgrange was once referred to as The Brugh, home of the Tuatha De Danann in the Book of Invasions. In the Ossianic Cycle, it became the home of Angus Og, son of Boand and The Daghda. |
