Ready to Walk really, really Long?

Inspired by the The Longest Walk 2008, February 11 - July 11, 2008 (see "News & Archaeological Links", below), planning for the Americas Long Walk around and across AW Americas has started at the The Americas Long Walk '08-thread. Please check it out and join us, whether you're interested in the different cultures and "hoods" of Americas, or if you're interested in roleplay writing... come as yourself, a historical or fictional character, or as a foreigner... you're welcome as long as you're peaceful and promise to respect the Mother Earth... the Walk will start at the Land of the Aurora Borealis on Feb. 11 and end up in the rain forests of the south, on July 11.

Welcome,
~Topi

AW-store of Americas?:

AmericasDing5.gif

Tezozomac Yazzie suggested that we should start our own AW-store division, and as it was a great idea, an old thread was re-modelled for it: The AW Store: Americas-themed Designs; If you're graphically talented, post your original designs on the thread, and even if you're not, post your ideas (and we'll try to find someone to make the picture for you), and if the designs are found to be of good quality, they will be sent to Julilla Sempronius to be added to the AW-store. First Americas own items will be "Three Sisters Inn"-mugs, -aprons and -tees: coming soon to your local AW-store!

Symposion for Americas?:

AmericasDing5.gif

According to "rumors", one of the demis is currently trying to negotiate a possible guest for AW Symposion, mainly Dr. Richard Hansen, "The man who inspired Mel Gibson's epic Apocalypto". Hopefully he will have time to join us for a week sometime during the spring. Please follow the announcement threads for developing story...
