But let's go one step at the time, or I'll get lost myself.

IRL I'm Italian - that's just to let you know why you'll probably bump in some of my Anglitalian expressions!

In high school I had Latin and Greek language and literature. In university, I started with Physics but ended up in Political Sciences as a major and Economics as a minor. I then got a Master in Science and Technology Policy (are you starting to get lost?) and ended up with a PhD in the Economics of Innovation.
So you'll guess I might be working in University... Nope! I'm a consultant in Professional Training! Does that make sense to you?

Two years ago, I started re-reading the classics... Homer, Virgil and Plutarch and his parallel lives of Alexander and Caesar. Meanwhile I bought Suetonius' "Twelve Caesars" and... then I really lost myself to Julius Caesar. I started buying every book I found on JC and then I decided divulgative books weren't enough, so I found myself going through academic books.

When HBO's ROME was broadcast, I noticed the differences between what I read and what I saw... started googling and... hit straight into AW.
From that day, I became an addict, felt bad if I couldn't log in for one day because of RL, started participating and... here I am a newbie scribe!

In RL my friends look at me weird when I talk of AW Rome as if it were alive (but here Rome IS alive), my boyfriend takes it as part of my being nuts. I use spare time to read of Ancient Rome, as well as of cosmology and high energy particle physics (remember? I'm nuts)
Finally, if you're wondering at my avatar I almost became a professional dancer and I still love to dance... Fame style for those of you who remember the tv series.
