The Dedication at the Parthenon Tonight at 9 EST!

because of her late arrival, numphe shyly takes her place towards the back of the crowd. hopefully she will be able to see something anyway...

Lystra sits with her younger cousin Bethany and waits. It was hard to convince the younger girl to come (she was reluctant to leave the Inn in case her beloved arrived) but eventually Lystra had managed. A bit of bribery and coersion worked. Besides she was her boss after all.
- Senex watches from a vantage point ...
Genuflex suggested coming early to find a good spot and to avoid the crowd. Ha! We should have started out two days ago. Fortunately for me, he found a large building block that had not been used in construction and boosted me to the top. I have a perfect view! Oh, I think the ceremony is about to begin ... I hope that I can hear as well as I can see!
- Voluptua stood at the forefront...
of the crowd, eyes fixed on her husband. Her bodyguard deployed around her, shielding her from contact with the boisterous citizens gathered to see the dedication of the magnificent Parthenon.
Voluptua watched the brightly burning torch that the Babylonian king held ready to light the sacred flame.
Her heart swelled with pride. Magnificent king, splendid warrior, noble man... the Lion of Babylon, Nebuchadnezzar the Great.
She bowed her head and waited for the ceremony to begin.
